 Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital is a newly formed health care delivery system in the northeastern lake region. This unified delivery system provides our community with progressive multi-specialty services including eighteen Family Practice physicians, five Internal Medicine specialists, two OB/GYN physician, three full-time Emergency Room physicians, three General Surgeons, two Psychologists, one Chiropractor, and five Nurse Practitioners. Recruitment efforts are underway for several additional specialty physicians, including specialists in Orthopedics, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine and Ear, Nose and Throat. The new entity will soon be relocated to 60 scenic acres overlooking a portion of the Mississippi River in southwest Grand Rapids. The new $60 million dollar facility, scheduled for completion in 2005, will include ample clinic space for our multi-specialty staff, integrated diagnostic services and ambulatory surgery, 55 inpatient beds, expanded surgical area and an acute rehabilitation facility. |
